2006
Netcom is founded
2009
Netcom makes investments in companies and start-ups to bring in-house expertise in the Telco, Media, and Automotive sectors
2010
The corporate name “Netcom Engineering S.r.l.” is established
2013
The corporate name becomes “Netcom Engineering S.p.A.”; Netcom officially becomes a joint-stock company
2015-2016
Netcom Engineering progressively expands its operations and workforce.
2020
Netcom Engineering S.p.A. then becomes part of a network of companies, namely the Netcom Group Network
2021
Netcom establishes two companies abroad, in Germany and Turkey, to seize opportunities in the Transportation, Design, and Style markets, further expanding the Group’s scale and international presence.
2022
Netcom Engineering S.p.A. contributed to the creation of QuantumNet, one of Italy’s first innovative start-ups specializing in Quantum Computing, founded in collaboration with professors from the Department of Physics at the University of Naples Federico II.
2023–2024
Netcom Engineering S.p.A. builds relationships with several new companies, progressively expanding the size of the Netcom Group Network
2025
Netcom Engineering S.p.A. expands its expertise by entering the railway sector. Netcom also obtains new certifications in Italy and Germany: it adopts the Model ex 231 in Italy, obtains the Gender Equality Certification PDR125, and becomes a Benefit Corporation. As a result, it significantly strengthens its compliance, in line with an updated Code of Ethics. Netcom Engineering S.p.A. thus becomes “Netcom Engineering S.p.A. SB”.
2026
Netcom expands the size of the Group by investing in new sectors, entering different countries, and establishing new companies. At the same time, it strengthens the integrated compliance framework launched in the previous year through welfare initiatives, including those related to Artificial Intelligence. QuantumNet joins Confindustria.
