The IPC (Instrument Panel Cluster) unit represents the vehicle’s dashboard—the electronic or analog interface that groups together essential indicators for the driver, such as the speedometer, tachometer, fuel level, and warning lights.
NetCom actively works on Stellantis projects. For over four years, it has been engaged in the development and validation of software for the IPC (Instrument Panel Cluster) control unit.
The primary objective is to provide development and validation for all functionalities related to the IPC unit, following all phases of the software development V-model.

Starting from the analysis of requirements (HMI, VF – Vehicle Functions, etc.), software functionalities are developed according to the steps on the left side of the V-model, and tested according to the steps on the right side.
The main goal is to deliver high-quality software code that is readable, maintainable, secure, high-performing, and compliant with reference standards and regulations.
The development methodology applied is based on the Model-Based Design (MBD) approach, a methodology aimed at providing auto-generated code starting from a Matlab / Simulink model, compliant with specific rules and architectures.

Beyond the roles of developer and tester/validator, the skills of Netcom Consultants also encompass the Scrum Master, a key figure in assisting the team with workflow management according to Agile methodology values; the Project Manager, responsible for project planning and execution; and the Technical Lead, who serves as the project’s technical authority.
NetCom Engineering’s software factory is ASPICE Level 2 compliant.
